This serves as a formal request for each department head to assess and submit a motivated request for a company cell phone, where deemed necessary, to support efficient departmental operations. The provision of company cell phones is intended to facilitate seamless communication, improve responsiveness, and ensure operational continuity during critical situations.
Purpose and Scope:
The use of company cell phones is designated for roles and departments where on-call
availability, immediate response, and accessibility are essential to maintain high-quality
service delivery. We recognize that specific roles and situations, such as after-hours standby duties or emergency response functions, require dedicated communication devices to ensure operational efficiency.
Examples:
● Branch Mortuaries: A company cell phone is required to support standby drivers
who may be on call during after-hours or weekends. This device will enable prompt
response to urgent service needs, allowing the driver to coordinate with relevant
stakeholders in real-time.
● Field Technicians / Service Teams: Technicians who need to perform on-site
visits or emergency repairs after hours can benefit from a dedicated
communication line for coordinating logistics, accessing technical support, and
ensuring client satisfaction without relying on personal devices.
Customer Service / Call Centers: To handle urgent customer requests or provide
high-quality customer support, dedicated devices may be required to enhance customer
engagement and allow for follow-ups as needed.

Each submission should:
1. Clearly state the role(s) or individuals who would use the cellphone.
2. Provide specific examples of tasks or functions that necessitate a company cell
phone.
Please note that submitting this motivation is not guarantee that it will be
approved. Approval will be at the discretion of the IT Manager and team.
Also note that if the application is approved, the phone will be issued to the
BRANCH/DEPARTMENT and not just for ONE person to use/own/utilize.
