Proper Care of Company Vehicles

23 August 2024

This memorandum serves as an important reminder regarding the proper care

and handling of company vehicles. Your vigilance and adherence to the

guidelines outlined below are crucial in maintaining the safety and longevity of

our fleet.

1. Immediate Reporting of Abnormalities

● If you notice anything unusual while driving, such as strange noises or

dashboard warning lights, stop the vehicle immediately.

● Report the issue directly to the Control Room using one of the contact

numbers listed at the bottom of this memorandum

2. Reporting Accidents and Damage

● In the event of any form of damage or accident, it is essential to report it

immediately to the Control Room.

● Do not report it to your branch or area manager first. After contacting

the Control Room, you may then inform your direct supervisor.

3. Required Reporting Information

● When reporting any issue, please provide the following details:

○ Your Name and Surname

○ Your Contact Number

○ Your Location (where you are stranded)

○ Details of the Issue or Incident: Describe what is wrong, what

happened, and any visible damage to the vehicle.

4. Follow Proper Procedures

● Never take action on your own. For example, if the water level indicator

lights up, do not simply add water.

● Always communicate with the Control Room first, and wait for

instructions from a mechanic or Mr. Webb before proceeding.

5. Vigilance While Driving

● We urge all drivers to be more vigilant and aware when operating

company vehicles. When driving in rural areas, be especially mindful of:

● Poor road conditions

● Potholes

● Stray animals

Your attention to these details will help avoid unnecessary damage to the

vehicles.

Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring the safety and reliability of our

company vehicles.
