To maintain regulatory compliance, ensure accurate record-keeping, and safeguard the integrity of our client onboarding processes, we are standardizing the documentation requirements for New Policy Applications and other additions to policies (including members and Add-on products). This memorandum outlines the minimum documents required and should be adhered to with immediate effect.
OVERVIEW
New Policy Applications
Effective immediately, all new policy applications must be accompanied by the following minimum documents: ● Copy of the Main Member’s Identity Document (ID): This is required to verify the identity of the individual applying for the policy and must be valid and readable. ● Recent Proof of Residence (Not older than 3 months): Acceptable documents include utility bills, bank statements, lease agreements, municipal letters and “permission to occupy” letters, clearly reflecting the Main Member’s name and residential address.
Applications submitted without both documents will be considered incomplete and will not be processed until the required documentation is provided.
Other Members and Add-on products When adding a spouse, beneficiaries and extended beneficiaries to an existing policy, the following document is compulsory: ● Copy of the Member’s Identity Document (ID) or Birth Certificate: This ensures accurate identification and verification of the individual to be added. Please note that no beneficiary will be added without valid identification documentation. All team members are requested to comply strictly with these documentation standards. These measures are essential for compliance with regulatory frameworks, prevention of fraud, and efficient service delivery.
