Memo : Verification of Banking Details for Payouts

This Memo is to inform you of the updated requirements for the verification of banking details as per a recent request from KPL. To ensure a smooth process and timely payouts for funerals, we kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to the following guidelines:
1. Bank Statements with Stamp:
All submitted bank statements must bear the official stamp of the respective bank. This is crucial for authentication purposes.
2. Copy of ID Document:
Please include a clear and legible copy of the ID document of the individual who will be receiving the payout for the funeral. This is essential for verification.
3. Inclusion of Cell Number:
It is mandatory for the person receiving the payout to add their contact number to the submitted bank statement. Standard Bank has requested this information to facilitate the verification of account details. The inclusion of the cell number will also enable the Claims Department to communicate effectively and process payments timeously.
