Memo: Traveling Arrangments - Pay Points

Reason for Memorandum:

This memorandum is being issued due to excessive driving distances and fuel

expenses for pay points.



Please take note:

  1. Line managers are not allowed to drive off route to collect reps and secretaries.

  2. Line managers must identify the best places on the route to collect reps and inform them.

  3. Reps and secretaries must ensure to get the line manager on route to pay points as arranged or at the branch from where the line manager departs.

  4. Line managers must communicate with their staff their time of departure and where he/she will collect them next to the road as mentioned in point 2 above.

  5. If it is impossible for the employee to reach the relevant collection destination in time, there is the option to sleep over at the branch (this will be the employee’s


own choice – transport to the branch and food will be the employee’s own responsibility)

  1. Arrangements to sleep over must be done with the relevant Area Manager in advance and communicated to the branch manager.

  2. These arrangements will be effective 1 July 2023.
