In our ongoing efforts to operate more efficiently and reduce costs, we would like to remind all Drivers of the importance of minimising vehicle idling. This not only saves fuel but also contributes to our overall sustainability and cost management efforts.
Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
Avoid Unnecessary Idling: Please make a conscious effort to avoid idling your vehicles unnecessarily. Excessive idling consumes a significant amount of fuel, which directly impacts our operational costs, particularly in light of the constantly rising fuel prices.
Modern Vehicle Technology: Modern vehicles are equipped with advanced technology that eliminates the need for long warm-up times. It is no longer necessary to keep the engine running for extended periods before departing. Start your vehicle and proceed with your tasks efficiently.
Monitoring by Control Room: We will be closely monitoring the idling times of our vehicles through the Control Room. This will help us ensure that everyone is adhering to this request and contributing to our cost-saving initiatives.
Your cooperation in reducing unnecessary idling is greatly appreciated and will play a significant role in controlling our operational expenses.
