Reason for Memorandum:
It has come to our attention that some employees have accumulated excessive leave
balances. We would like to remind all staff of their responsibility to manage and take their
annual leave in a timely manner as per the company policy.
Annual Leave Policy
All employees must ensure they are familiar with our leave policy, which is available on the staff portal. Please review the policy at the following link: Leave Policy.
Key Points to Note:
Holiday leave must be taken within 6 months after the expiry of the leave
cycle. If leave is not taken within these periods, it will lapse.
The leave must be taken within this period; otherwise, it will automatically
expire after the second 6-month period.
Action Required:
Check Leave Balances: All employees should regularly check their leave balances and plan accordingly.
Submit Leave Requests: To apply for leave, please use the leave application form
available at the following link: Leave Application Form.
Authorization: Before applying for leave, the employee must first discuss it with
his/her direct supervisor/manager. You can only go on leave if you have received an
approved email from the payroll office.
It is crucial for all employees to manage their leave responsibly to avoid any lapses. Failure to take leave within the stipulated timeframes will result in forfeiture of the accumulated leave days.
