It has come to our attention that some staff members are helping themselves to the water and juice that form part of the funeral package paid for by our clients. We have received several complaints from clients regarding this matter, and we want to make it clear that such behaviour is unacceptable and damages the professional image of our organisation.
All staff members are expected to bring their own water, drinks, and food when attending gravesite services. The refreshments provided at the grave site are strictly for the bereaved family and their guests.
Undertakers, as the leaders of the funeral team, are accountable and are expected to set the example in this regard. We urge all Undertakers to speak to their teams and ensure that this message is clearly communicated and adhered to.
With immediate effect:
● Any staff member found consuming water or juice intended for the client will be subject to disciplinary action.
● Such incidents must be reported to the HR Department immediately.
Your cooperation in upholding the dignity and standards of our funeral services is appreciated.
Thank you.
