23 May 2025

This memo serves to formally communicate the chain of command that has been established for the operational management of the group of 10 drivers responsible for body removals and general tasks.

To ensure clarity, accountability, an efficient task execution, all instructions and operational communication must follow below approved chain of command:

1. Control Room All jobs allocations and operational planning will originate from the Control Room. 2. Group Leader The Group Leader is responsible for coordinating with the drivers, conveying instructions from the Control Room, and overseeing task execution on the ground. Mr Eddie Machimane is now the appointed group leader and any changes will be communicated once an announcement has been made. His contact information is 082 834 5164.

3. Drivers Drivers are expected to report directly to the Group Leader, carry out allocated duties diligently, and provide timely feedback once tasks are completed.

Responsibilities During Idle Time

In addition to body removals, drivers will continue to assist with general daily duties as per the task schedule. These include: ● Refueling and Vehicle servicing. ● Cleaning of vehicles and equipment. ● Assisting with funeral preparations. ● Inter-branch transfers. ● Casket deliveries and general transport. Important Directives ● No person may issue a direct instruction to a driver. If a task needs to be assigned, the individual must consult the driver’s Group Leader.

Drivers have been instructed to decline direct instructions and to politely request that any operational request be routed through their Group Leader. ● The Group Leader will assess and, if appropriate, escalate the request to the Control Room.

Only the Control Room may perform the necessary route authorization and administrative allocation after consultation with the Group Leader

Even when the Control Room receives a direct request for a driver, they must first consult the Group Leader to ensure availability, fairness, and alignment with other tasks.

All departments are requested to respect this structure and direct all operational matters accordingly. This will help reduce confusion, streamline workflow, and promote better coordination among teams.

We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to maintaining professional standards.

Best regards Marietha Hall HR Admin Manager Wisani & NLA
